Senior Lead, Oracle Fusion HCM Solutions

This position is no longer accepting applications(closed Aug 16, 2026).

Save the Children International has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Lead, Oracle Fusion HCM Solutions to join our global team.

Team and Role Purpose

The Transformation Development team drives Save the Children's organisational change agenda by delivering high-impact, global transformation initiatives that strengthen our ability to achieve more for children. The team works across a broad and evolving portfolio — spanning systems implementation, process reengineering, target operating model design, data, and artificial intelligence — adapting its focus in response to organisational priorities and emerging needs.

Members of the team are assigned to a specific project and are expected to dedicate their full effort to delivering it. However, as the portfolio evolves — whether a project concludes, priorities shift, or an urgent need arises elsewhere — team members may be redeployed to a different initiative. This flexibility is core to how the team operates, ensuring Save the Children can direct the right capability to the right priorities at the right time.

Role purpose

The Senior Lead, Oracle Fusion HCM Solutions is the organisation's expert adviser on Save the Children's live Oracle Fusion Human Capital Management System, ensuring we make smart, well-informed solution choices as we continue to develop and mature the platform across a complex, global organisation. Combining deep Fusion HCM product expertise with hands-on HR and people experience, the role partners with the Product Owner to lead the delivery of the enhancement roadmap, drives continuous improvement of the live solution, and brings the people subject-matter expertise needed to ensure the solution genuinely works for the teams who use it.

The role holder will oversee the ongoing solution design, configuration, and integration of Oracle Fusion HCM with adjacent systems, providing the expertise and assurance that enables senior stakeholders to make informed, smart decisions as the live solution evolves. Drawing on deep Oracle Fusion product knowledge — including emerging capabilities and best practice — and their own HR and people background, they will help shape and drive delivery of a coherent roadmap of enhancements aligned to organisational people requirements, championing scalability, performance, and a reduction in complexity across the estate.

Beyond solution development, the Senior Lead will shape how the live platform delivers value — defining success metrics and benefits realisation, establishing a Centre of Excellence and proposing ongoing improvements to the shared support model, and working closely with the Product Owner to drive accelerated adoption and embed sustainable change. A central part of the role is to stand up the Centre of Excellence from the ground up, bringing together the people already working with the live solution — including the HR team and internal IT development team — to build a sustainable, in-house capability. Because HCM and the Oracle Fusion Financial Management System (FMS) share significant interdependencies, the role holder will partner closely with the FMS team to assess any changes proposed to HCM in order to accommodate the finance solution — validating that they are properly impact-assessed and do not introduce unnecessary inefficiencies on the HR and people side. This is a high-visibility role requiring senior-level engagement with stakeholders across the movement, working alongside internal IT teams, Oracle, and third party vendors to ensure a fit-for-purpose solution that continues to meet strategic needs. They will also support Members as they adopt and optimise the global solution — guiding them through local feasibility assessments, configuration, and roll-out.
