CCN Pte Ltd operates a leading digital portal for the air cargo community. Our flagship platform supports both local and international air cargo stakeholders by enhancing operational productivity through electronic messaging and value-added digital services.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior/Lead Systems Engineer - Azure & Infrastructure Systems to join our Network and Operation team.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will be part of the IT Systems and Infrastructure team, responsible for managing and supporting both on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure environments. This includes Microsoft Azure services, server systems, virtualization platforms, storage, backup solutions, and supporting network infrastructure.

Reporting to the IT Delivery Manager / Team Lead, the candidate will play a key role in architecting, implementing, securing, and maintaining enterprise IT systems to ensure high availability, performance, scalability, and operational resilience.

The appointment level will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience, technical competencies, and certifications.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, administer, and maintain Microsoft Azure and on-premises infrastructure environments.

• Manage and enhance Microsoft server systems, virtualization platforms, clustering, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.

• Support hybrid infrastructure environments involving Windows and Linux systems.

• Monitor system health, troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.

• Perform infrastructure hardening, vulnerability remediation, patch management, and security improvements.

• Conduct system performance tuning, optimization, and capacity planning activities.

• Work closely with application developers and project teams to deploy and support enterprise applications.

• Manage and support Azure services including but not limited to the following:

  • Azure Virtual Machines

  • Azure Backup & Site Recovery

  • Azure Networking

  • Azure Identity & Access Management

  • Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)

  • Azure Service Bus

  • Azure B2C

• Research, evaluate, and recommend new technologies, tools, and solutions to improve operational efficiency and reliability.

• Participate in infrastructure projects, proof-of-concept (POC) implementations, system upgrades, and cloud transformation initiatives.

• Support IT Disaster Recovery (DR) planning, testing, and exercise activities.

• Senior engineers are expected to have strong experience in designing and architecting Microsoft systems, virtualization platforms, Azure, and security solutions.

Secondary Responsibilities

The candidate will also participate in rotational operational support duties, including:

1. Daily infrastructure operations such as:

   • Backup monitoring

   • System maintenance

   • Infrastructure health checks

   • Performance monitoring

   • End-user support

2. After-office-hours standby to:

   • Respond to critical system alerts

   • Provide Level 2 technical support for infrastructure and application-related issues

When not on duty, Senior Engineer are expected to provide Level 3 support to their members.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (Mandatory)

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (Mandatory, Certified or Trained)

• Certified Kubernetes administrator (Mandatory, Certified or Trained)

• Security related certification (Optional)

• Other relevant Microsoft Azure infrastructure or cloud certifications

Additional Advantageous Experience

Experience in the following areas will be considered a plus:

• Enterprise Storage solutions

• Microsoft 365 administration

• System Integrator (SI) or Cloud provider environment experience

• MS SQL MI and Mongo DB administration
