Salary: £43,860 - £47,829 per annum (pro rata for part-time) (Pay award pending)
Working Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday-Friday
Contract Type: Fixed term/secondment, initially for one year with possibility of extension

About the Role
As a Senior Learning & Development Advisor, you will play a key role in designing and delivering a high-quality, blended learning offer that supports a confident and competent workforce across Leicestershire County Council. You will lead projects, manage a team of Learning Advisors, and work closely with stakeholders to develop and implement learning and development activities.
You will ensure learning solutions are impactful, value-driven, and aligned to business needs, while continuously improving the service through evaluation, innovation and effective use of technology.
About You
To apply for this post, you must:
- have a management qualification or relevant experience, and a learning & development qualification or relevant experience
- have experience of having delivered learning & development activities and advice within a complex organization
- have experience of recruitment, supervision, development and performance management
- have understanding of legislation relating to local government functions, including children and adult social care services
- be skilled at building positive relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
- have the ability to manage a demanding workload with competing priorities
