Position Summary
We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to execute migration and stabilization work across business-critical insurance and pension integrations in our platform.
Role Type and Scope
Individual contributor role with end-to-end technical ownership for assigned migration flows
Expected to work independently in complex legacy environments
Collaborates with infrastructure, DBA, MQ, and operations teams
No people management responsibility

Deliver safe and fast migration outcomes for legacy and hybrid services, with minimal business disruption and clear rollback readiness.
Mandatory Technical Skills
- C# and .NET Framework 4.x (3.5 exposure is a plus)
- WCF, SOAP, ASMX service maintenance and migration
- IIS deployment and troubleshooting (application pools, bindings, config)
- Windows Services and Task Scheduler based batch operations
- SQL Server troubleshooting and secure configuration handling
- IBM MQ integration fundamentals (connectivity, queue and channel diagnostics)
- PowerShell automation for deployment, verification, and operations
- TFS & Git based workflows and CI/CD pipeline collaboration
- General knowledge on PKI (Public Key Infrastructure)
Preferred Technical Skills
Candidate should have at least 2 of the following:
- C or C++ maintenance in Windows service environments
- Mainframe adjacent integration patterns (EBCDIC and file bridge patterns)
- Container and Kubernetes exposure for coexistence with modern APIs
- Production observability and incident response in regulated environments
- Legacy security hardening (service accounts, encrypted settings portability)
Key Responsibilities
Execute migration tasks across legacy and modern components
Validate environment parity and eliminate runtime blockers before cutover
Diagnose and fix production critical issues in services, queues, and integrations
Build and run end-to-end migration verification and rollback tests
Produce concise runbooks and deployment notes for repeatable execution
Ensure all acceptance criteria are met before go or no-go decisions

Proven migration delivery in legacy enterprise systems with low incident impact
Direct IIS plus WCF or ASMX cutover experience in production
Practical MQ troubleshooting and backlog handling under pressure
Clear examples of rollback strategy and execution in real releases
Demonstrated ability to balance migration speed with operational safety
