Senior Legal Counsel APAC

You draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, advise product and engineering teams on card issuing, cross-border payments, and stablecoin integrations, navigate multi-jurisdictional payments, digital asset, and privacy regulations, support financial licensing, and provide commercially balanced legal guidance.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements
• Advise product and engineering teams on product design, launches, and scaling
• Navigate multi-jurisdictional payments, digital asset, and data privacy regulations
• Assist with obtaining and maintaining financial licenses
• Provide risk-balanced legal guidance
• Translate complex legal concepts into commercial solutions

Requirements

• 5 to 7 years of post-qualification experience
• Experience at a top-tier law firm or in-house legal department
• Strong background in commercial, product, or financial regulatory law
• Familiarity with global payments, corporate credit cards, or Web3/blockchain technology
• Ability to manage multiple dynamic workstreams and competing deadlines
• Commercial legal judgment
• Qualification to practice law in a recognized jurisdiction
