Senior Legal Counsel — India

Evaratus (formerly Scaler AI Labs) is looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to own the legal function for our India entity, working directly with the founders and finance leadership.

What you'll own

• Commercial contracts end to end: enterprise data agreements, vendor and partnership agreements, NDAs and LOIs

• People operations related legal: employment contracts, consultant agreements, policy reviews, and separation matters

• Corporate governance and statutory compliance for the India entity, working with external counsel

• Data protection and IP: advising on data licensing, confidentiality, and intellectual property across our AI research and enterprise work

• Managing external counsel relationships and legal spend

What we're looking for

• 6 to 10 years of post-qualification experience, with a mix of top-tier law firm and in-house counsel roles

• Strong command of commercial contracting for technology or data businesses

• Experience supporting a US-parent structure with an Indian subsidiary is a strong plus

• Comfortable being the sole legal owner in a fast-moving company: pragmatic, commercial, and decisive
