Senior Legal Counsel

Job Description

Main Purposes of the Job:

Reporting to the General Counsel, Corporate Affairs & Regulatory Affairs, this position in a legal function seen as a real partner leader to the business and provide practical solution which covers both legal knowledge and commercial acumen.

Detailed Job Responsibilities:

• Developing and executing the organization’s legal strategy to be aligned with the overall business objectives.

• Offering proactive advice on possible legal challenges to leadership team and cross functions.

• Mitigating commercial risks and industrial risks.

• Monitoring and ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and industry standards to the organization's operations.

• Establishing and implementing policies and procedures to manage legal and regulatory risks effectively.

• Overseeing the negotiation, drafting, reviewing and execution of various contracts, agreement and legal documents and ensuring that contractual terms are aligned with the organization's interests, in order to minimize potential legal liabilities.

• Protecting the organization's intellectual property rights including patents, trademarks, copyrights and trade secrets.

• Assuring the corporate governance compliance including licenses & permits, reporting & submission, assets documentation and shareholders relations.

• Participating in due diligence when required, or other strategic transactions.
