Senior Legal Counsel - Real Estate

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Legal Counsel specializing in Real Estate to join our team in Maharashtra. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in non-litigation legal matters related to commercial real estate, construction finance, and lease rental discounting. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with various legal frameworks, including the RERA, Property Act, SARFAESI Act, and Registration Act. Key Responsibilities: - Provide expert legal advice on commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, leases, and financing. - Conduct thorough due diligence to identify potential legal risks and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. - Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements related to real estate transactions. - Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to facilitate smooth transaction processes. - Stay updated on changes in real estate laws and regulations to provide proactive legal guidance. - Represent the organization in discussions with regulatory authorities and during negotiations. Required Skills: - Strong knowledge of legal principles related to commercial real estate and construction finance. - Proven experience in lease rental discounting and due diligence processes. - Familiarity with RERA, Property Act, SARFAESI Act, and Registration Act. - Excellent negotiation and communication skills. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
