Senior Legal Counsel Regulatory

You will provide legal guidance on stablecoin, payment, and card products. You will manage regulatory requirements, draft customer-facing and commercial agreements, monitor regulatory developments, design compliant product structures, and oversee outside counsel relationships and legal spend.
Responsibilities
- Advise on legal and compliance issues for stablecoin, payment, and card products
- Expand product offerings in line with regulatory requirements
- Draft and maintain terms of service, user agreements, and product disclosures
- Manage US regulatory requirements, applications, and card-network compliance obligations
- Monitor regulatory developments and advise on their business impact
- Design compliant product structures and card program agreements
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements
- Ensure compliance with applicable US financial-services regulations
- Manage outside counsel relationships, matter scope, and legal spend
Requirements
- 5+ years of post-qualification experience
- JD and admission to practice in at least one US jurisdiction
- Experience advising on digital assets and payments at a top law firm or in-house
- Knowledge of US financial legislation, regulations, and supervisory frameworks
- Familiarity with the SEC, CFTC, FinCEN, and state-regulator approaches
- Legal communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making in ambiguity
