Senior Legal Counsel Regulatory

You will provide legal guidance on US stablecoin, payment, and card products. You will draft customer and commercial agreements, manage licensing and regulatory requirements, monitor regulatory developments, design compliant product structures, oversee outside counsel, and ensure compliance with applicable financial-services regulations.
Responsibilities
- Advise on legal and compliance issues for stablecoin, payment, and card products
- Expand product offerings in line with regulatory requirements
- Draft and maintain customer-facing legal documents and disclosures
- Manage US regulatory requirements, license applications, and card network compliance obligations
- Monitor regulatory developments and advise on their business impact
- Design compliant product structures and card program agreements
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements
- Ensure compliance with applicable US financial-services regulations
- Manage outside counsel relationships, matter scoping, and legal spend
Requirements
- 5+ years of post-qualified experience
- JD and admission to practice in at least one US jurisdiction
- Experience advising on digital assets and payments
- Knowledge of US financial legislation, regulations, and supervisory frameworks
- Familiarity with the SEC, CFTC, FinCEN, and state regulators
- Stakeholder management and decision-making in ambiguous situations
