Summary

Senior Linux Administrator maintains secure, high-performance DoD IT systems, enforces security controls, and supports enterprise service delivery for mission-critical operations.

This position is full time remote and requires the candidate hold an active secret clearance.

Accelera Solutions is looking for a Senior Linux Administrator to support our DoD customer to implement an enterprise IT service delivery model that provides consistent, secure, high-quality, and cost-effective services to enable mission success and improve end user experience across the customer environment. On this program, we will deliver enhanced capabilities and services to implement and operate an enterprise ITSM solution, enterprise service desk, endpoint management and security solution, as well as CONUS/OCONUS field support and life cycle support for end user devices to enable the DoD customer to transition focus from IT operations to mission operations.


The System Administrator will be responsible for:
As a System Administrator, you will be directly responsible for the implementation of security controls, troubleshooting application errors, creating silent installation packages for application distribution systems, working with ISSO’s on accreditation packages, managing both physical and virtual workstations, and providing SME level support for Tier 3 trouble tickets and meetings with Air Force officials.


Required Skills and Experience:
• Experience Designing a Technical Refresh of a Government Network
• Experience performing an RMF, or equivalent, C&A/A&A
• Experience working with Software Developers
• Experience working with Microservices
• Experience with Imaging technologies
• Experience with application deployment methods and technologies
• Experience implementing SELinux in an enforcement mode
