Senior Linux Engineer designs, implements, and maintains large-scale Linux infrastructure, ensuring security and performance while mentoring junior team members.
This position is full time remote and requires the candidate hold an active secret clearance.
Accelera Solutions is seeking a Senior Linux Engineer to provide analysis, design, development, and integration of hardware, software, and all system level requirements and functional objectives to provide an integrated EIT solution. Develops integrated system test requirement, strategies, devices, and systems. Ensures highest level of CyberSecurity while balancing user needs. Initiates (does not wait for others) to identify key areas of improvement relating to anything Systems related.
Install new software releases, system upgrades, evaluating and installing patches and resolve software related problems. Perform system backups and recovery. Maintain data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity.
Possesses and applies expertise across key tasks and high impact assignments. Plans and leads major assignments. Responsible for designing, implementing, and managing complex Linux-based systems and infrastructure. May mentor or task lead others.
