Senior Linux Engineer – DC Migration Programme
Responsibilities
- Administer, configure, and maintain enterprise Linux server
environments
- Support application platforms running on Linux infrastructure
- Build and prepare infrastructure environments for migration
activities
- Monitor system performance, reliability, and availability
- Diagnose and resolve infrastructure issues impacting application
environments
- Support environment setup, configuration, and access preparation
for migration phases
- Collaborate closely with application, middleware, and
infrastructure teams during migration execution
- Maintain operational
documentation and technical knowledge in Confluence
Requirements
- Advanced Linux system administration experience
- Strong experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux or Oracle Linux
- Experience supporting application servers such as JBoss, Tomcat, Apache,
OHS, WildFly, or Spring Boot environments
- Experience with automation tools such as Rundeck or Ansible
- Strong experience with Linux monitoring, performance analysis, and
troubleshooting
- Scripting skills in Bash or Python
- Solid understanding of IP networking and infrastructure concepts
- Experience supporting high-availability or high-transaction systems
- Experience supporting infrastructure or data centre migration programmes
- Strong collaboration
skills in international engineering environments
- Understanding of cryptography concepts such as PKI
and PGP
- Experience in payments, fintech, or financial
transaction systems
- Exposure to large-scale enterprise transformation
programmes
- Knowledge
of load balancing, TLS, and secure infrastructure patterns
