Senior Linux Kernel Engineer (Embedded / Yocto Linux)

Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Embedded Linux Engineer with strong expertise in Linux kernel and Yocto Project–based systems.
This role owns the Linux kernel, BSP, and low-level software architecture for embedded hardware platforms, and plays a key role in board bring-up, system optimization, and long-term platform maintenance. You will work closely with hardware, firmware, and application teams and have real ownership of technical decisions.
The role is also expected to leverage AI-assisted engineering tools and workflows to improve development efficiency, debugging, code analysis, documentation, and platform maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of Linux kernel and BSP for embedded platforms
• Own board bring-up for new hardware, including bootloader, device tree, kernel configuration, and driver integration
• Architect and maintain Yocto Project distributions and BSP layers
• Develop and maintain Linux kernel drivers for SoC peripherals
• Debug complex system issues such as boot failures, kernel panics, driver issues, and performance problems
• Optimize boot time, power consumption, and runtime performance
• Drive kernel upgrades, security patching, and long-term support strategies
• Apply AI-assisted development tools and workflows to improve code analysis, debugging, log analysis, documentation, test automation, and engineering productivity
