Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year

Must have advanced federal CM/ECF filing experience, exceptional proofreading skills, and advanced/master-level Microsoft Word proficiency, along with 3+ years of litigation legal support experience.

Job Description

  • Manage federal CM/ECF filings from preparation through final confirmation, including pleadings, motions, briefs, notices, and exhibits.
  • Prepare, format, proofread, cite check, and finalize complex legal documents and correspondence.
  • Use advanced Microsoft Word features including styles, automatic numbering, tables of contents and authorities, section breaks, footnotes, cross-references, Track Changes, and document comparison.
  • Calendar and monitor critical litigation deadlines and attorney schedules.
  • Coordinate filings and service in federal and state courts.
  • Maintain accurate, organized electronic case files and litigation documents.
  • Support attorneys with hearings, depositions, trial preparation, appendices, and other case needs.
  • Identify potential issues before they become problems and proactively keep litigation matters moving.
  • Take ownership of important work and operate confidently in a deadline-driven environment.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of directly relevant litigation legal support experience.
  • Advanced federal CM/ECF filing experience.
  • Advanced/master-level Microsoft Word skills.
  • Exceptional proofreading and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to remain calm, accurate, and resourceful under tight deadlines.
  • Sophisticated law firm or complex commercial litigation experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated stability and interest in building a long-term career.
