Senior Logistic Manager
Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Logistics Manager to oversee end-to-end warehousing, cold-chain operations, and distribution networks. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence across multi-temperature storage facilities (frozen, chilled, ambient), optimizing fleet distribution, ensuring strict inventory integrity, and scaling overall supply chain efficiency.
Our client is a leading FMCG company with an extensive nationwide supply chain network. As a trusted market leader, they handle multi-category consumer goods, servicing a diverse range of commercial channels and retail networks across the country.
Key Responsibilities
1. Warehouse & Inventory Operations
Lead overall warehouse operations across dry, chilled, and frozen storage areas to ensure maximum operational throughput and space utilization.
Oversee inventory accuracy, cycle counts, stock allocation, and FEFO/FIFO compliance using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
Maintain strict quality control, cold-chain integrity, safety protocols, and temperature-monitoring compliance across all storage zones.
Implement lean warehousing practices to reduce waste, operational bottlenecks, and product damages.
2. Fleet & Distribution Management
Oversee route planning, fleet allocation, and primary/secondary distribution networks to ensure on-time and in-full (OTIF) deliveries.
Manage multi-temperature delivery vehicles and ensure strict temperature controls during transit.
Lead driver/transporter performance management, vehicle maintenance schedules, and fuel optimization.
Develop strategies to optimize last-mile delivery efficiency across Modern Trade, General Trade, and Food Service/HoReCa sales channels.
3. Strategic Leadership & Process Improvement
Establish, monitor, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to warehouse utilization, fulfillment speed, fleet productivity, cost-per-case, and order accuracy.
Identify cost-saving initiatives and process automation opportunities in inventory handling and logistics operations.
Partner with procurement, sales, customer service, and demand planning teams to align logistics capacity with client growth objectives.
Lead, mentor, and build high-performing warehouse and distribution teams across multiple shifts and regional hubs.
Qualification Requirements
Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields.
Experience: 8+ years of progressive experience in logistics, warehousing, and distribution operations, with at least 3–5 years in a senior leadership role.
Industry Focus: Strong background in FMCG, food & beverage distribution, or temperature-controlled/cold-chain supply chains.
Technical Skills: Proficient in WMS, TMS (Transportation Management Systems), and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle). Strong analytical skills in data-driven logistics planning.
Competencies: Strong leadership, vendor negotiation, cross-functional collaboration, crisis management, and continuous improvement (Lean Six Sigma is a plus).
