We are seeking a highly analytical and experienced Senior Demand Planning & Logistics Manager to lead our demand forecasting efforts and contribute significantly to the optimization of our end-to-end supply chain. This role is pivotal in ensuring product availability, minimizing inventory costs, and driving operational efficiency across our national operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in demand planning coupled with a comprehensive understanding of broader logistics principles, eager to develop their career beyond traditional demand forecasting and take on strategic challenges within the supply chain domain. This is a leadership position with direct reports, requiring excellent team management and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demand Forecasting & Market Analysis:

    • Gather, analyze, and consolidate market and sales data to develop accurate country-level demand forecasts, ensuring they reflect current trends and commercial activities.

    • Leverage statistical models and qualitative insights to enhance forecast accuracy and identify potential risks and opportunities.

  • Inventory Management & Optimization:

    • Ensure sufficient stock availability within the country to meet market needs and support commercial campaigns, proactively preventing both shortages and excess inventory.

    • Monitor and reduce obsolete or slow-moving inventory through detailed product-level forecasting and coordinating action plans with other departments (e.g., Sales, Marketing).

  • Process Improvement & Cross-functional Collaboration:

    • Drive the optimization of demand planning processes, identifying areas for efficiency gains and technological enhancements.

    • Act as a key liaison between sales, marketing, operations, and finance to ensure a cohesive supply chain strategy.

  • Logistics Integration & Supply Chain Enhancement:

    • Collaborate with logistics, warehousing, and transportation teams to understand constraints and opportunities, integrating logistics considerations into demand plans.

    • Contribute to the development and implementation of broader supply chain initiatives aimed at improving efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and service levels.

    • Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth within the demand planning function.

Job Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Supply Chain Management roles.

  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.

  • High proficiency in English (written and spoken).

  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
