Senior Logistics Specialist
Job Description
Transportation Management (Primary Focus) Manage end-to-end transportation operations including shipment planning, dispatch, delivery, and return flows. Coordinate with 3PL transportation providers and carriers to ensure on-time and in-full (OTIF) delivery. Monitor transportation performance, service levels, and freight costs against KPIs. Optimize routing, load planning, and delivery schedules to improve efficiency and cost control. Handle transportation-related issues such as delays, damages, claims, and customer complaints. Ensure transportation activities comply with company policies, safety, and regulatory requirements. Coordinate delivery schedules during promotions, peak seasons, and new product launches. 3PL & Cost Management Act as the key contact for transportation service providers. Conduct regular performance reviews and drive corrective actions. Support freight rate negotiation, cost analysis, and budget control. Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining service quality. System & Reporting Prepare regular transportation performance and cost reports. Support data analysis for continuous improvement initiatives. Continuous Improvement & Projects Drive transportation process improvement initiatives. Participate in logistics projects such as 3PL transition, network optimization, or system implementation. Support regional or global standardization initiatives.
