Senior M&E Engineer

Job Summary

We are hiring Senior Mechanical & Electrical Engineers as M&E consultants in the building construction industry. He/She should be capable of delivering successful project outcomes through technical expertise and collaboration with allied professionals.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical engineering systems for building services to meet project requirements and compliance standards
• Apply knowledge of local codes of practice for M&E installations and design to ensure regulatory adherence
• Prepare clear, detailed technical reports to communicate design concepts and project progress
• Deliver effective presentations to stakeholders to explain design solutions and project status
• Oversee implementation of mechanical engineering designs on site to ensure quality and compliance
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary consultant teams and work independently to achieve project goals
• Demonstrate strong integrity and commitment to successfully complete assigned projects and tasks
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in M&E consultancy design work
• Mechanical engineering degree recognized for registration with the PE Board or current PE registration is advantageous
• Keen interest in Building Services design
