Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Compensation: $180k – $200k • No equity

We are seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to support our business expansion. This role demands both high-level technical proficiency and excellent communication skills. Beyond mere technical implementation, the ideal candidate will combine deep expertise in machine learning and backend development to collaborate effectively with colleagues and help shape the team's future strategic direction. What You'll Do: - Build scalable backend services and infrastructure supporting AI and ML products. - Develop and optimize production-grade systems using modern cloud and container technologies. - Work with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow. - Develop high-quality software using Python, Go, and .NET. - Design and maintain cloud-native environments using Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS. - Contribute to architectural decisions and engineering best practices. What We're Looking For: We are looking for a senior-level professional with a strong combination of Machine Learning expertise and Backend Engineering experience, with 10+ years of combined professional experience, including substantial hands-on experience in both areas. The ideal candidate will have: - 5+ years of professional experience in Machine Learning, AI, or related engineering roles. - 3+ years of professional experience in Backend or Software Engineering. - Strong programming experience with Python, along with experience in Go and/or .NET. - Practical experience with PyTorch and/or TensorFlow. - Strong experience building scalable, production-ready software systems. - Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS. - A solid understanding of software architecture, APIs, distributed systems, and backend development.
