Senior Mainframe Automation Engineer

Czym będziesz się zajmować?

Project scope:

• Lead migrations from CA OPS/MVS to Tivoli Systems Automation for z/OS and from CA Automation Point to SAIOM.
• Configure policy-based automation and maintain automation rules, REXX execs and PDB configurations.
• Install, configure and support automation products.
• Optimize system startup, shutdown and recovery with operations teams.
• Ensure high availability and operational efficiency through proactive automation.
• Document configurations, migration procedures and operational guidelines.
• Troubleshoot production issues and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.

• Long-term IT services project in Katowice, Gdańsk, Kraków, Lublin, Opole, Poznań, Warszawa or Wrocław.
• Hybrid work model: 40% office and 60% remote.
• Full-time B2B cooperation with private medical care including dental care, Multisport and life insurance.

• At least 5 years of experience in a mainframe operations environment in operational, support, consultancy or service roles.
• Advanced hands-on knowledge of Tivoli Systems Automation for z/OS.
• Strong experience with TSO and ISPF for system management and administration.
• Good knowledge of JCL and practical REXX programming and script maintenance.
• Working knowledge of System Automation Policy Database.
• Experience delivering z/OS automation migration projects and hands-on experience with NetView for z/OS.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good English communication skills.
• Citizenship in the European Union and residence in Poland.
