Senior Maintenance Inventory & Administration Leader 2 year Fixed Term Contract

Lead maintenance inventory and administration for a UK manufacturing site, overseeing spare parts, CMMS (SAP/Agility), and preventive maintenance to ensure operational reliability and compliance.
What we achieve together
- In your role as Senior Maintenance Inventory & Administration Leader, you will lead the management and control of all maintenance spare parts on site, ensuring availability, traceability, and efficient inventory processes that support uninterrupted operations.
- Working closely with the Industrial Maintenance & Compliance Manager, you will develop and continuously improve preventive and predictive maintenance programmes across mechanical, electrical, and process assets to maximise reliability and performance.
- Your responsibilities will include maintaining and optimising the Computerised Maintenance Management System, ensuring accurate asset records, work order history, failure analysis, lifecycle information, and maintenance performance indicators.
- Through effective collaboration with engineering and maintenance stakeholders, you will ensure efficient parts flow, control, and traceability while safeguarding the availability of critical components required for business continuity.
- By providing technical insight into asset performance reviews, equipment risk assessments, failure investigations, and improvement initiatives, you will support informed decision-making and continuous operational improvement.
- Together with an interdisciplinary team, you will promote a culture of safety, compliance, development, and accountability while mentoring colleagues and helping them achieve their full potential within an inclusive and high-performing environment.
What makes us successful together
- You have successfully completed at least a Level 3 NVQ Extended Diploma in Engineering Maintenance or an equivalent engineering qualification.
- You bring previous experience in a senior maintenance administration, maintenance planning, or maintenance leadership position within an engineering or manufacturing environment
- You possess strong knowledge of maintenance management systems and asset management principles, ideally including experience with SAP and Agility Computerised Maintenance Management Systems, combined with excellent analytical and reporting capabilities.
- An IOSH Working Safely qualification and experience supporting compliance requirements, maintenance audits, and engineering improvement programmes would be advantageous
- You are an organised and collaborative leader who communicates effectively with stakeholders at all levels, builds strong relationships, and inspires teams through a positive, inclusive, and improvement-focused approach.
