Senior Management Analyst, CG-343-14
This position is located in the Office of Risk Management and Internal Controls (ORMIC) of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and is responsible for coordinating Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), process improvement, and audit follow-up activities throughout the Corporation and ensuring that the FDIC has a strong, effective internal control program. Conducts internal control reviews and program evaluations of the Corporation's operations. Reports on their results and recommends solutions and improvements. Serves as a liaison between FDIC's divisions and offices and the OIG, GAO, or other third-party auditors for audits and evaluations of the Corporation's operations. Monitors audit follow-up and resolution activities pertaining to recommendations made as a result of these audits and evaluations to ensure that appropriate corrective actions are taken. Provides strategic direction and assistance to Divisions/Offices on risk management activities. Advises management in the implementation of recommended changes or enhancements to risk management operations. Participates in special projects or reviews of cross-cutting corporate issues that involve responsibilities of multiple Divisions/Offices and presents findings and recommendations to management. Prepares written analyses and makes recommendations to senior FDIC management on the implementation of recommended changes to business processes. Prepares written procedural guidelines for ORMIC and ensures that policies and procedures for the evaluations are documented, maintained, and consistently applied.
