The Opportunity
The Senior Manager, Acquisition Marketing manages DAT's channel pool: paid media, lifecycle and email, affiliate, influencer and advocacy, and social. The role is accountable for craft quality and consistent channel execution across every segment. This person owns the working relationship with DAT’s paid media agency, and manages paid, affiliate, and lifecycle work in-house as needed. This is a people-management role and a hands-on channel leadership role at the same time.
What You’ll Do
- Manage the marketing channel pool across paid, lifecycle and email, affiliate, influencer and advocacy, and social, and hold the team accountable for craft quality.
- Own the paid agency relationship, including scope, spend pacing, and performance reporting against segment CPL ceilings.
- Direct paid acquisition across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, and 6sense, scaling channels that perform within ceilings and disqualifying those that do not.
- Coordinate lifecycle and email execution on SFMC, including supporting in-house ownership.
- Coordinate and guide the affiliate marketing channel at DAT, including supporting in-house ownership.
- Set channel-level standards, briefs, and QA so segment requests are executed consistently.
- Partner with the Lead Marketing Analyst on measurement, test design, and honest channel verdicts.
- Coach and develop the specialists in the pool, and own hiring for the additional 2027 channel seats.
- Manage channel budgets and vendor invoices in partnership with Finance and Marketing Operations.
The Skills and Experience You’ll Bring
- 8+ years in acquisition or performance marketing, including 3+ years managing people and agency relationships.
- Deep hands-on paid media background across search and paid social, with demonstrated CPL and CAC discipline.
- Experience managing a paid media agency relationship, including scope, spend fees, and performance accountability.
- Working knowledge of lifecycle and email marketing platforms; SFMC familiarity a plus.
- Working knowledge of affiliate marketing; B2B affiliate marketing familiarity a plus.
- Comfort with attribution limitations and the discipline to report against ceilings rather than vanity metrics.
- Track record of building and coaching a multi-channel team.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

For Washington-based candidates, in compliance with the Washington State Pay Transparency Law, the salary range for this role is $162,000.00 - 206,000.00 + target bonus. DAT considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education and training, core skills, internal equity, and market and business elements when extending an offer.
