How You'll Create Possibilities

  • Lead & Strategize: Develop and implement the vision for robotics automation, ensuring alignment with GE’s business goals.

  • Manage Complex Projects: Oversee the execution of robotic, electrical, and automation projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and quality excellence.

  • Drive Technical Excellence: Serve as the go-to expert in robotics, automation, and electrical control systems, ensuring standardization and optimization across our facilities.

  • Mentor & Develop Talent: Guide, train, and inspire a team of engineers, fostering innovation and professional growth.

  • Innovate & Integrate: Research and implement new robotic and automation technologies, including 3D vision and cageless safety systems.

  • Collaborate & Communicate: Act as a bridge between project teams, plant operations, and leadership, ensuring clarity and alignment on priorities.

  • Enhance Efficiency & Safety: Apply Lean principles and Human Organizational Performance (HOP) strategies to improve manufacturing processes while prioritizing operator safety and compliance.

What You'll Bring to Our Team

Requirements:

  • Experience: 10+ years of hands-on experience in robotic and controls engineering, with a focus on electrical and automated manufacturing equipment and processes.
  • Education: Technical Degree in Engineering or a related field. Advanced degrees preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Extensive experience with FANUC and ABB robots, including programming, 3D vision guidance, and line-tracking integrations. Proficiency in simulation tools such as FANUC Roboguide and ABB RobotStudio.
  • Industry Experience: Prior experience with OEM integrators of industrial robotic workstations.
  • Project Management: Proven track record of managing large-scale automation projects, including specification development, supplier management, and equipment qualification.
  • Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to present technical information to diverse audiences.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required (20-30%).


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Engineering
  • Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt, Black Belt, or Master Black Belt)
  • Familiarity with industrial controls software (PROFICY, RXLOGIX, SIMATIC) and safety/security integrations

Work Environment & Expectations:

  • Manufacturing environment with exposure to heavy equipment
  • Occasional off-shift and weekend work
  • Mandatory use of safety equipment
