Senior Manager, APAC Marketing

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Manager, APAC Marketing to lead and execute regional marketing strategies across Hong Kong, Singapore, and Southeast Asia. This role will be responsible for driving brand awareness, accelerating customer acquisition, and improving retention across key APAC markets.

This position plays a critical role in shaping APAC growth strategy, operating at both strategic and tactical levels. The ideal candidate will build and scale regional partnerships while optimizing existing marketing channels including influencers, social media, affiliates, media, and offline activations. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders internally, as well as external partners and agencies.

Job Expectations:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and retention across APAC markets (Hong Kong, Singapore, SEA)

  • Define and optimize paid media strategies aligned with business goals; negotiate media buys, explore new channels, and launch strategic partnerships to expand reach

  • Oversee end-to-end campaign execution, including promotions, localization, operations, customer experience, and in-market communications

  • Own relationships with local creative, media, PR, and influencer agencies to ensure strong regional relevance and performance

  • Analyze daily and weekly performance against sales and marketing targets; translate insights into actionable growth initiatives

  • Lead influencer marketing strategy, expanding and diversifying the regional creator ecosystem

  • Manage and allocate regional marketing budgets across channels to maximize ROI and efficiency

  • Plan and execute PR initiatives, brand activations, and events to strengthen market presence

  • Partner with central CRM teams to optimize lifecycle marketing, loyalty programs, and retention strategies

  • Ensure accuracy and quality of localized content across partner platforms, continuously improving brand positioning

  • Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders to define commercial strategies and trade marketing calendars that drive growth

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Required:

  • Proven track record in performance marketing and data-driven decision making

  • Strong understanding of APAC consumer behavior, with experience in Hong Kong, Singapore, and/or Southeast Asia markets

  • Experience managing agencies and external partners across multiple markets

  • Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and hands-on in a fast-paced environment

  • Business level fluency in English and Cantonese or Mandarin

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights

  • This role is based in Tokyo, Japan or Seoul, South Korea (Hybrid)

Experience Requirements:

Generally requires eight (8) + years of relevant experience in e-commerce or digital marketing, preferably with regional (APAC) scope. Experience with influencer marketing and social commerce in APAC markets preferred.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or equivalent professional experience required

Judgment/Reasoning Ability:

Able to identify, troubleshoot and resolve problems quickly using sound judgment, poise and diplomacy. Ability to use judgment and reasoning skills, and determine when to escalate issues, as required, in a timely manner.
