Job Description

Primary Duties / Responsibilities

  • Own and maintain the APAC distribution technology roadmap, ensuring regional priorities are clearly defined, sequenced, and aligned to global initiatives

  • Represent APAC within the Digital Distribution & Enterprise Engineering (D2E2) leadership team, ensuring regional requirements are embedded in the design and prioritisation of global programmes

  • Act as the single point of accountability for APAC distribution technology delivery, including escalation management and resolution of regional issues

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with APAC business stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Client Reporting, and Product, ensuring technology investment aligns with commercial objectives

  • Represent APAC in global governance forums, including participation in the Distribution Domain Board alongside regional business leadership

  • Prioritise the regional product backlog and define user stories to ensure delivery of high value, fit for purpose solutions

  • Maintain the conceptual and technical integrity of product features across global and regional delivery teams

  • Drive visibility of APAC priorities within global planning cycles, including roadmap planning, DDB processes, and strategic programmes

  • Collaborate with APAC Technology leaders to ensure alignment with local regulatory, operational, and client requirements

  • Lead and develop the APAC Business Analyst, providing direction, prioritisation, and mentorship

  • Track and report on regional pain points, delivery risks, and investment gaps, ensuring transparency to both APAC and global leadership

Work Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in technology delivery, product ownership, or business analysis within financial services

  • Proven experience owning technology roadmaps in a global, multi market environment

  • Experience working with distribution technology platforms, including CRM (for example Salesforce), client reporting (for example Vermilion), content platforms (for example Alfresco and Seismic), data platforms (for example Snowflake and APIs), and digital/web platforms

  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a global, matrixed organisation, influencing outcomes without direct control of delivery teams

  • Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and product ownership practices

  • Experience working within APAC financial services markets, with awareness of regional regulatory and operational requirements

  • Prior experience in people leadership or mentoring
