Senior Manager, CLM Implementation

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Manager, CLM Implementation based in India.

This is a senior, hands-on implementation leadership role focused on delivering complex Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) solutions for enterprise clients. You will lead implementations from requirements discovery and solution design through configuration, testing, migration, and go-live. The role combines deep technical expertise with client-facing delivery across legal, procurement, IT, and business teams. You’ll work across leading CLM platforms and enterprise ecosystems, including CRM, ERP, and other integrated systems. You’ll also contribute to migration programs, platform optimization, and the development of repeatable implementation frameworks. The position offers a remote working environment with occasional travel to Chennai or as business needs require. • Lead end-to-end enterprise CLM implementations across platforms such as Ironclad, Agiloft, Sirion, Icertis, and comparable solutions, taking ownership from requirements gathering through UAT, deployment, and go-live.
• Configure workflows, approval processes, templates, clause libraries, metadata structures, business rules, and other platform components to meet client requirements.
• Design and coordinate integrations with Salesforce, ERP platforms, vendor management systems, repositories, and other enterprise applications.
• Build, manage, or coordinate API-based connectors in collaboration with internal engineering teams and technology vendors.
• Lead system and user acceptance testing, migration activities, deployment planning, and production go-live support.
• Partner with legal, procurement, IT, and business stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into practical technical solutions.
• Guide migration, abstraction, and data validation teams while supporting legacy system migrations and CLM data clean-up initiatives.
• Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including configuration specifications, workflow diagrams, administration guides, implementation playbooks, and related materials.
• Train client teams and internal analysts on platform capabilities, implementation best practices, and ongoing enhancements.
• Provide post-production support and continuously optimize workflows, configurations, and platform functionality.
• Contribute to standardized implementation frameworks, reusable processes, and internal capability development.

Requirements

• 7–12+ years of hands-on experience delivering CLM implementations, preferably within enterprise environments.
• Proven implementation experience with at least one major CLM platform, with Ironclad preferred; Agiloft, Sirion, Icertis, or equivalent platforms also considered.
• Strong technical knowledge of APIs, integrations, workflow automation, metadata models, data structures, and enterprise application landscapes.
• Experience with legacy system migrations, metadata mapping, data validation, and CLM data clean-up.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex, enterprise-scale implementations from discovery through production.
• Experience integrating CLM platforms with Salesforce and other enterprise systems.
• Multi-platform CLM implementation experience and familiarity with different configuration and deployment approaches.
• Background in engineering, computer science, technical delivery, or a closely related discipline.
• Strong client-facing, communication, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across legal, procurement, IT, and business functions.
• Strong technical writing and documentation capabilities, with the ability to create clear implementation specifications and playbooks.
• Experience developing standardized implementation methodologies, frameworks, or reusable delivery assets is advantageous.
• Relevant CLM platform certifications, such as Ironclad, Agiloft, Sirion, or Icertis certifications, are preferred.
• Willingness to travel to the Chennai office quarterly or on an as-needed basis.
