Senior Manager, Contracts
Job Roles
-Oversee and manage contractual and commercial matters for structural steel projects from tender stage to project completion.
-Lead contract negotiations with clients, consultants, main contractors and subcontractors.
-Review and manage contracts, variations, claims, extensions of time and final accounts.
-Monitor contractual risks, project costs and commercial performance.
-Provide advice to management on contractual, commercial and risk-related matters.
-Supervise and guide the Contracts team in handling project-related matters.
-Manage contractual disputes and resolve issues with project stakeholders.
-Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, project requirements and company policies.
Job Requirements
-Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil/Structural Engineering, Contract Management or a related discipline.
-Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in contracts and commercial management within the construction or structural steel industry.
-Strong knowledge of construction contracts, variation orders, claims, EOT and final accounts.
-Proven experience in contract negotiation and commercial management.
-Strong analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
-Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with clients, consultants, contractors and internal teams.
-Experience in supervising or managing a Contracts team will be an advantage.
