Position Summary

The Senior Manager / Client Service Associate Director is responsible for leading the corporate secretarial team, managing key client relationships, ensuring regulatory compliance, driving operational excellence, and supporting business growth. The role serves as a trusted advisor to clients and provides leadership to the Singapore corporate secretarial practice.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management

  • You'll serve as the primary relationship manager for strategic and high-value clients, providing corporate secretarial advisory support, managing escalations, and identifying opportunities to expand client relationships and cross-sell services.
  • You'll manage the full spectrum of corporate secretarial services for fund structures and corporate entities, including coordinating board and shareholder meetings, conducting stakeholder discussions, and preparing agendas, minutes, and resolutions.
  • You'll ensure compliance with the Singapore Companies Act, ACRA requirements, relevant regulations, and internal policies by maintaining statutory registers, minute books, and filing statutory documents accurately and on time.
  • You'll review and approve complex corporate actions, including incorporations, restructurings, share allotments, director changes, and strike-offs, while overseeing regulatory filings and related corporate governance matters.
  • You'll mentor and guide junior team members, review their work for quality and accuracy, and leverage systems such as BizFile, e-Stamping, CAS, and Microsoft Office applications to deliver efficient corporate secretarial services.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop Team Leads and corporate secretarial professionals.
  • Manage workforce planning, resource allocation, and succession planning.
  • Drive employee engagement, performance management, and capability development.
  • Foster a high-performance and client-centric culture.

Operational Excellence

  • Drive process improvements and standardisation initiatives.
  • Manage operational risks and ensure implementation of internal controls.
  • Oversee productivity, profitability, and portfolio performance.
  • Support strategic projects and transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

  • ICSA/CGI qualification or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
  • Degree in Law, Business, Accountancy, Corporate Administration, or related discipline.

Experience

  • You bring 10 to 15 years of corporate secretarial experience, ideally gained within a corporate services provider, professional services firm, or similar environment.
  • You have a proven track record of managing large client portfolios and complex corporate structures across multiple jurisdictions and entity types.
  • You possess strong leadership and people management skills, with experience leading managers, developing teams, and driving high performance.
  • You have extensive experience delivering corporate secretarial services and providing trusted advisory support to diverse client stakeholders.
  • You have experience supporting multinational corporations, private equity firms, fund structures, or listed companies, which will be considered a strong advantage.

Technical Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of the Singapore Companies Act and corporate governance requirements.
  • Sound understanding of CSP regulatory requirements and corporate secretarial best practices.
  • Strong risk management and compliance mindset.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and commercial acumen.
