Senior Manager (Data Management, Digitalisation Office)

Our client is a Leading Finance Company, they are currently seeking for a Senior Manager (Data Management, Digitalisation Office) to join their team.

Senior Manager (Data Management, Digitalisation Office) (3 years contract)

Responsibilities:

• Support implementation of enterprise-wide data warehouses from platform selection, technical architecture design, implementing and testing the proposed solutions to enable optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources
• Manage ETL flow design, development, testing, implementation, and support Be responsible for hands-on data engineering works including understanding data models, preparing data for migration, data cleansing, and data reconciliation
• Build BI reports / dashboards / analytics tools that empower internal business units to utilise the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency, and other key business performance metrics
• Work with data management technologies for data integration, data quality and governance, data dictionary, master data management, data security and data linage

Requirements:

• University degree preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or related disciplines
• A minimum of 5 years’ solid experience in data analytics, data engineering, data application / platform management
• Solid track record of sizable IT project experiences in data analytics, data warehouse, ETL (extract, transform, load), business intelligence reporting, data transformation, etc.

• Strong technical knowledge in cloud data platform implementation (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc) in the banking, finance, and insurance industry is preferable

• Experience in data architecture, data modelling, data pipeline design, data integration, and data quality solutions / tooling

• Strong in SQL and proficient in Python is desirable

• Experience in ETL / data integration (e.g. Azure Data Factory, Informatica, AWS Glue, etc) and business intelligent tooling (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, etc)

• Experience with or knowledge of transitional rational database environments (e.g. Oracle, SQL server, DB2, etc)

• Experience in banking, finance, and insurance industry is a plus

• Logical, detailed-minded, and well-organised

• Excellent proficiency in both English and Chinese with competent communication and presentation skills

• Candidates with less experience may be considered for the position of Manager
