(Senior Manager / Director) of Netsuite
Role Summary
The (Senior Manager / Director) of NetSuite is a senior leadership role responsible for the strategic ownership, implementation, and continuous optimization of Bazooka Companies' NetSuite ERP platform. This individual will serve as the primary subject matter expert and executive sponsor liaison for all NetSuite-related initiatives across the CPG, supply chain, and SaaS business units. The role demands a rare combination of deep technical fluency, cross-functional business acumen, and organizational change management capability.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic ERP Leadership
- Own the NetSuite product roadmap aligned to enterprise growth objectives across CPG, supply chain, and SaaS verticals
- Partner with C-suite and business unit leaders to define ERP strategy, investment priorities, and ROI metrics
- Lead governance of the NetSuite platform including licensing, architecture decisions, and vendor relationships
- Champion the ERP transformation agenda within the organization, ensuring sustained executive sponsorship and stakeholder alignment
2. Implementation & Program Delivery
- Oversee end-to-end NetSuite implementation programs including scoping, workstream planning, go-live readiness, and hypercare
- Drive delivery of core modules: Order-to-Cash (O2C), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Record-to-Report (R2R), Inventory, WMS, and Manufacturing
- Manage internal program teams and third-party SI partners; ensure on-time, on-budget delivery to agreed quality standards
- Establish and maintain project governance frameworks including RAID logs, steering committee cadence, and status reporting
- Lead data migration strategy and execution, including data cleansing, validation, cutover planning, and post-go-live reconciliation
3. Business Process & System Optimization
- Drive continuous improvement of NetSuite configurations, workflows, saved searches, and custom scripting (SuiteScript)
- Identify process gaps and system limitations; architect scalable solutions leveraging native NetSuite functionality and approved third-party integrations
- Lead periodic system health checks, performance reviews, and release management aligned to NetSuite's bi-annual upgrade cycle
- Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams to enhance system adoption and data quality
4. Team Leadership & Development
- Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing NetSuite team including functional analysts, technical developers, and integration specialists
- Define team structure, hiring plans, and capability development roadmaps to support Bazooka's growth trajectory
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and cross-functional collaboration within the ERP function
5. AI & Digital Integration
- Lead evaluation and deployment of AI-powered capabilities within and adjacent to NetSuite (e.g., intelligent automation, predictive analytics, Claude AI integration)
- Partner with the Claude AI adoption team to identify ERP workflows suitable for AI augmentation and intelligent process automation
- Oversee integration architecture between NetSuite and adjacent platforms including PLM (Autodesk Fusion Manage), CRM, 3PL, and BI tools
6. Compliance, Controls & Risk Management
- Ensure NetSuite configurations and processes meet SOX, GAAP, and internal audit requirements
- Maintain role-based access controls, security configurations, and data governance standards
- Lead business continuity and disaster recovery planning for the ERP environment
Qualifications & Experience
Essential
- 10+ years of progressive experience with NetSuite ERP, including at least 3 years in a (Senior Manager / Director) or senior program leadership role
- Demonstrated experience leading full-cycle NetSuite implementations in multi-entity, multi-currency environments
- Deep expertise across Finance, Supply Chain, Inventory, and Procurement modules within NetSuite
- Proven ability to manage large cross-functional programs with internal teams and SI partners
- Strong business process knowledge across O2C, P2P, and R2R in CPG, manufacturing, or distribution environments
- NetSuite Administrator or ERP certification (NetSuite SuiteFoundation, Administrator, or equivalent)
- Experience managing data migration programs and cutover planning for major ERP go-lives
- Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills
