Senior Manager Electrical MEP
Description
Qiddiya Investment Company is looking for a Senior Manager - Electrical MEP to lead and manage the electrical mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineering processes for our pioneering and diverse development projects. The role requires oversight of the design, execution, and commissioning phases to ensure that MEP electrical systems meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
The Senior Manager - Electrical MEP will be responsible for coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, managing contractors, and ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and standards. This role demands leadership in planning, monitoring, and delivering complex MEP electrical systems across various infrastructure and building projects within Qiddiya.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the design review and approval process for electrical MEP systems throughout the lifecycle of projects.
- Manage and oversee electrical MEP contractors and consultants to ensure timely and quality delivery.
- Develop and implement technical standards, specifications, and best practices for electrical MEP systems.
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to maintain integration and resolve interfacing issues.
- Monitor progress, budgets, and schedules for electrical MEP works and report to project leadership.
- Ensure compliance with applicable local, national, and international standards and regulations.
- Participate in risk management and quality assurance processes.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation in electrical MEP engineering practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in electrical MEP engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership or senior managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of electrical MEP design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance.
- Proven experience managing large-scale infrastructure or commercial development projects.
- Familiarity with local and international codes and standards related to MEP electrical systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Experience working in fast-paced, multidisciplinary construction environments.
