Leading a small onshore team of platform and data specialists, you will establish and manage offshore delivery capabilities, with decision-making authority across architecture, vendors, resourcing and investment priorities. This is a build-focused leadership opportunity for someone who thrives on creating structure, driving transformation and establishing a function designed for long-term scalability, accountability and performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

ERP Strategy & Consolidation

Lead the ERP strategy and consolidation of Epicor Prophet 21 and Infor CloudSuite Distribution onto a single strategic platform.
Own the ERP roadmap, architecture, platform standards and associated delivery priorities.
Provide accountable leadership across ERP consolidation, migration, major upgrades and integration activities.
Establish consistent processes, documentation and knowledge-transfer practices to improve platform resilience and reduce reliance on individual subject-matter experts.
Partner with business stakeholders to align ERP capabilities with operational requirements and long-term business objectives.

Enterprise Data, Reporting & Governance

Own the enterprise reporting and business intelligence environment end to end, including the data platform, reporting tools, data architecture and business definitions.
Establish a trusted, consistent source of business reporting, with clear ownership of metrics, definitions and data quality.
Develop and implement enterprise-wide data governance standards, policies and accountabilities.
Lead master data management across customer, supplier, vendor and product domains.
Drive data quality remediation and implement controls that sustain improvements over time.
Establish standards for data ownership, documentation, accessibility, integrity and ongoing maintenance.

Technology Delivery & Operating Model

Design and implement a scalable operating model that combines onshore functional ownership with offshore delivery capability.
Build, develop and lead a small onshore team of platform and data specialists, establishing clear accountabilities, performance expectations and development priorities.
Establish and manage offshore managed-service capacity, including scope definition, service levels, delivery standards, quality assurance and commercial performance.
Create the standards, documentation and delivery processes that translate onshore requirements into consistent, high-quality offshore execution.
Introduce appropriate governance, performance measures and service-management disciplines to ensure accountability across internal teams and external partners.
Establish a culture of continuous improvement, structured knowledge transfer and reduced operational dependency on individual team members.

Enterprise Programs & Data Enablement

Provide the data and platform foundation for concurrent CRM, quoting and Product Information Management (PIM) initiatives.
Ensure master data, reporting architecture and integration standards support these programs and their long-term scalability.
Work collaboratively with project leaders, business stakeholders and technology partners to manage dependencies, risks and delivery priorities.
Ensure new platforms and capabilities are implemented with appropriate governance, documentation, ownership and ongoing support models.

Commercial & Vendor Management

Own key technology vendor relationships, contracts, service agreements and commercial performance.
Lead vendor selection, negotiation, service reviews and performance management.
Develop and manage the function's operating budget, resource plans and investment priorities.
Build business cases for platform consolidation, delivery-model changes and technology improvements.
Balance cost, quality, risk and capability when determining how work is resourced and delivered.

QUALIFICATIONS:

8–12+ years of progressive experience across ERP and Business Intelligence, including 5+ years in leadership or functional ownership roles, with strong expertise in at least one discipline and working knowledge of the other.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Technology or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
Hands-on experience with distribution ERP platforms, with Epicor Prophet 21 or Infor CloudSuite Distribution considered a strong asset.
Proven experience leading ERP consolidation, migration, major upgrades or enterprise technology transformation initiatives.
Experience managing offshore delivery teams, managed services or outsourced technology models, including service levels, quality assurance and commercial performance.
Strong knowledge of data architecture, master data management, data governance, data quality and enterprise reporting standards.
Experience establishing consistent business metrics, reporting frameworks, data definitions and governance processes.
Proven ability to build scalable operating models, lead specialized teams, document processes and reduce reliance on individual knowledge.
Strong commercial acumen, including vendor management, contract negotiation, budget ownership, business cases and resource planning.
Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders, collaborate with business stakeholders and lead experienced technical specialists.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex initiatives, balance competing priorities and drive measurable outcomes.
A proactive, continuous-improvement mindset, with the ability to establish structure, accountability and sustainable processes in a developing environment.
