Senior Manager, Field Marketing
At Tactile Medical, we specialize in developing at-home therapy devices to treat lymphedema, chronic venous insufficiency and respiratory illnesses.
Position Summary
The Senior Manager, Field Marketing leads Tactile Medical’s regional Field Marketing Manager team and serves as the key connection between Commercial & Channel Marketing and the sales field. This role translates channel strategy, campaigns, and content into territory-level execution while building the operating rhythm, coaching cadence, and scalable processes needed for a growing field marketing function. The ideal candidate brings strong field, channel, or downstream marketing experience, proven people leadership, and the ability to use market insights, sales feedback, and performance data to improve adoption, customer engagement, and business results.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop the team of regional Field Marketing Managers, setting clear expectations for territory execution, field readiness, and adoption.
- Develop field marketing strategies that translate product and channel priorities into customer-facing programs, sales initiatives, and regional market development activities.
- Own the field marketing operating cadence, including planning cycles, campaign rollout timing, field readiness reviews, and team communication rhythms.
- Partner with Sales, Product Marketing, Market Access, and Marketing Communications to deliver integrated commercialization programs and localized field execution.
- Serve as a strategic marketing partner to Sales leadership by enabling execution through training, messaging, tools, customer insights, and commercialization support.
- Analyze market intelligence, customer insights, sales feedback, and performance data to identify opportunities and refine go-to-market priorities.
- Drive Voice of Customer and Voice of Sales efforts by gathering field intelligence, monitoring competitive activity, and translating insights into actionable recommendations.
- Build trusted relationships with customers, physicians, key opinion leaders, and sales teams through in-market engagement, clinical education, congresses, and industry events.
- Champion a data-driven approach using Salesforce, Salesforce Marketing Cloud or equivalent Marketing CRM, and related tools to guide territory targeting and reduce administrative burden on sales.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 8+ years of field, channel, trade, downstream, commercial marketing, sales enablement, or related customer-facing marketing experience.
- 3+ years of people management experience, including experience leading, coaching, or developing distributed or regional teams.
- Strong project management and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple regions, campaigns, and cross-functional priorities simultaneously.
- Experience using Salesforce, Salesforce Marketing Cloud or equivalent Marketing CRM, or related tools to inform targeting, field execution, and performance tracking.
- Ability to travel approximately 30% to support regional teams, customer engagement, and field events, including overnight travel.
- Valid driver’s license required.
Preferred:
- Medical device, healthcare, durable medical equipment, or related industry experience.
- MBA or advanced degree in Marketing, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
- Experience supporting customer-facing sales teams in a field-based or regionally aligned model.
- Experience launching or scaling field marketing, channel marketing, or commercial enablement programs.
- Experience influencing sales, marketing, and cross-functional leaders in a matrixed environment.
