Senior Manager Fund Operations / Fund Controlling (m/f/d)
- Lead and manage a team of professionals within the fund operations and fund controlling area, including task allocation, mentoring and quality assurance of deliverables.
- Act as the primary contact for key counterparties, including external fund administrators, depositary banks, auditors and other relevant service providers.
- Support the Portfolio Management team from an operational and fund controlling perspective across all asset classes managed by Prime AIFM Lux S.A..
- Support the valuation process by preparing up-to-date status overviews, analyses and findings from fund and asset-level controlling, including respective down- and upstream structures.
- Coordinate the onboarding of appointed portfolio managers, investment advisors, brokers and trading counterparties.
- Support portfolio managers and/or the structuring team in transaction-related activities, including acquisitions, restructurings and other portfolio events.
- Monitor the liquidity structure of managed alternative investment funds and support cash flow planning, reconciliation and related operational processes.
- Coordinate, oversee and perform quality reviews of external service providers in relation to portfolio management and fund operations activities.
- Provide operational support to the Access Solutions team in the structuring, launch or restructuring of closed-ended fund vehicles and special purpose vehicles (SPVs).
- Coordinate and process KYC requests from counterparties and ensure timely follow-up with internal and external stakeholders.
- Take responsibility for process optimization, automation initiatives, data management, data quality and the continuous improvement of operational workflows.
- Oversee NAV production and review processes, ensuring accuracy, consistency and timely delivery.
- University degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration or a related field.
- At least 8 years of relevant professional experience in the banking, asset management or fund industry, preferably with exposure to alternative investments.
- Proven track record in Private Debt, Fund of Funds and/or alternative investment portfolios, including a solid understanding of settlement processes such as acquisitions, corporate actions and restructurings, combined with strong knowledge of fund and securitization accounting principles.
- Strong knowledge of fund structures, including Luxembourg fund vehicles and SPVs.
- Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CFA, CAIA or similar are considered a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, ideally including team management, mentoring of junior staff and driving quality and performance standards.
- Strong ownership mindset with the ability to work independently, combined with excellent organizational, coordination and prioritization skills in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with internal teams, senior management and external partners.
- Solid understanding of accounting and financial principles, with the ability to assess complex structures, transactions and operational workflows.
- High attention to detail, strong analytical skills and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
- Fluent in English at business negotiation level; German language skills are a strong advantage.
