Senior Manager, Goalie Business Unit

About the Role
The BU Manager, Goalie is a high-impact leadership position within CCM’s Commercialization team. Acting with a general manager mindset, you will own the full strategic and commercial lifecycle of the Goalie category — from long-range product vision through to handoff to the Go-To-Market team. You’ll lead a cross-functional team spanning Product Management, Design, and Development, and serve as the category’s senior voice across the organization.
This is a role for a strategic manager who is equally comfortable in a boardroom presenting to executives, on the floor with product developers, and in deep conversation with athletes and retailers.
What You’ll Own
Strategy & Business Performance

Define and drive the 5-year category strategy and annual product roadmap.
Own Global Gross Sales and margin targets; bring a data-driven approach to profitability, pricing, and resource allocation.
Optimize SKU utilization and ensure all product creation meets go-to-market deadlines.
Continuously improve team operating processes to raise speed and efficiency.

Product & Innovation

Champion a consumer-first culture — leverage athlete insights, data, and market research to develop products that measurably help goalies perform at their best.
Build a clear 5-year vision and business plan.
Maintain a deep, forward-looking innovation pipeline that keeps CCM the brand of choice for goalies.

Cross-Functional Leadership

Serve as the face of the Goalie BU internally and externally — presenting to customers, retail partners, and executive leadership.
Influence Sourcing, Supply Planning, Operations, Finance, Sales (NA & EU), Marketing, and Demand Planning to align around category objectives.
Collaborate closely with other BU leaders to maximize overall company sales and profitability.
Build and nurture strong relationships with key retailers and buying committees.

Team Leadership

Lead, coach, and develop a team across Product Management, Design, and Development.
Recognize and develop talent; empower your team to own their domains.
Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and innovation.

What You Bring

University degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA strongly preferred.
8+ years in Product Creation (product management, development, or design), including people management experience.
Proven ability to set strategic vision and connect your team to it.
Strong financial acumen — comfortable dissecting P&L, managing budgets, and identifying growth levers.
Exceptional communication skills; experienced presenting to senior leaders and external partners.
Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills with sound decision-making under ambiguity.
A track record of building high-performing teams and a collaborative culture.
Bilingualism (French and English) is a strong asset
