Role Description
Atlas is seeking a Senior Manager of Human Resources to build and lead our HR function from the ground up. This role is ideal for a hands-on, strategic HR leader excited by the opportunity to shape the people strategy of a fast-growing, mission-driven healthcare organization.
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Senior Manager will oversee all aspects of HR—recruitment, employee engagement, operations, and compliance—ensuring Atlas attracts, develops, and retains exceptional talent.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Recruitment Leadership: Own full-cycle recruitment for both frontline clinical (LCSWs, LMFTs, LPCs) and corporate teams. Build sourcing pipelines and manage recruiting partners to ensure Atlas attracts top-tier behavioral health talent.
Culture & Engagement: Drive a culture of inclusion, connection, and mission alignment. Create programs that enhance employee satisfaction, recognition, and long-term retention.
HR Operations: Design and manage HR infrastructure including onboarding/offboarding, performance management, compensation philosophy, compliance, and employee relations.
Payroll & Benefits Administration: Partner with Atlas’s payroll provider and benefits broker to ensure accurate, compliant payroll and benefits delivery across a growing, multi-state workforce.
Leadership Partnership: Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and leadership team, providing strategic input on organizational design, people planning, and talent development.
Data-Driven Management: Develop KPIs and reporting to measure HR performance and tie people initiatives to business outcomes.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of progressive HR experience, including leadership or generalist roles.
Strong background in full-cycle recruiting; experience hiring behavioral health clinicians preferred.
Working knowledge of applicable labor law and compliance standards.
Proven ability to build HR systems and processes in a fast-paced or early-stage company.
Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to balance strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
