Senior Manager IGA Engineering (Sailpoint ISC)

This is a senior technical leadership opportunity focused on strengthening enterprise identity governance and security at scale.
You will lead an experienced engineering team responsible for identity governance services across a complex technology environment.
The role combines hands-on expertise in SailPoint Identity Security Cloud with strategic ownership of identity lifecycle and governance capabilities.
You will shape architecture, engineering standards, automation, and operating practices for both human and non-human identities.
Working closely with security, cloud, architecture, application, and compliance teams, you will help advance identity security and support broader technology transformation.
The position offers the opportunity to modernize legacy identity platforms, expand automation, and establish durable governance practices.
This is a fully remote role reporting to the Director of Identity Governance & Administration.

• Lead and develop a team of Identity Governance engineers, providing technical direction, mentorship, and delivery leadership.
• Define the technical strategy, architecture, engineering standards, and operating model for enterprise Identity Governance & Administration services.
• Lead the architecture, implementation, administration, and ongoing operation of SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC).
• Oversee identity lifecycle management, access requests, access certifications, provisioning, role-based controls, and governance policy workflows.
• Guide enterprise migrations from legacy identity governance platforms to SailPoint ISC, ensuring secure and reliable transitions.
• Establish governance and controls for non-human identities, including service accounts, machine identities, cloud service principals, bots, and similar accounts.
• Expand identity automation through APIs, custom connectors, GitOps, Infrastructure as Code, automated testing, CI/CD, and DevSecOps practices.
• Partner with security, architecture, cloud, application, compliance, and business leaders to support application onboarding, cloud transformation, regulatory requirements, and operational reporting.
• Communicate technical strategy, delivery progress, risks, and key decisions clearly to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of professional experience in Identity and Access Management, Identity Governance, or a closely related engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of experience managing software engineering, identity engineering, or comparable technical teams.
• Hands-on expertise implementing, configuring, and operating SailPoint Identity Security Cloud.
• Proven experience leading enterprise SailPoint implementations from architecture and design through production deployment and ongoing support.
• Strong knowledge of identity lifecycle management, access certifications, provisioning, RBAC, ABAC, and identity governance workflows.
• Experience designing and developing identity integrations using APIs, connectors, automation, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery, DevSecOps, CI/CD, Git, and Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Ability to establish technical direction while remaining close enough to the technology to guide architecture, implementation, and operational decisions.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and leadership skills, with the ability to explain complex identity concepts to both technical and executive audiences.
