Senior Manager, Incident & Cyber Security (R-19982)
The Senior Manager, Incident Response is responsible for providing 24x7x365 detection and response services across the enterprise. This role provides front-line leadership, collaborates with other Incident Response and Security Operations Center (IR/SOC) leaders to ensure investigations are conducted effectively, and operates at both tactical and strategic levels to improve monitoring, alerting, and response capabilities across networks, applications, cloud infrastructure, and endpoints.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee a team responsible for communicating, handling, recovering from, and learning from security incidents.
- Operate at the tactical and strategic level, engaging stakeholders across the enterprise to drive results.
- Use incident response operational data to drive decisions regarding resource allocation, threat mitigation, and analyst development.
- Collaborate with Incident Response and Security Operations Center leaders to deliver continuous monitoring and response capabilities.
- Participate in an on-call rotation.
- Provide front-line coordination and people leadership to IR/SOC analysts.
- Ensure investigations meet established processes, procedures, and standards.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security or related field or equivalent professional experience.
- 10+ years of experience in Security Operations or Incident Response. Preferably 6+ years in conducting cyber investigations using security and infrastructure technologies, working with Linux, Unix, and Windows operating systems, and 4+ years people management experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in managing or monitoring GCP, AWS, or Azure environments.
- Ability to thrive in a high energy, high growth, fast paced, entrepreneurial environment. Willing to learn new skills and implement new technologies
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and the able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Highly-collaborate team player who can build strong relationships at all levels of the technology and business organizations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite skills
