Senior Manager, IT Security Management

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage Information Security initiatives

• Maintain and drive comprehensive information security programme, deliver security strategy, policies, procedures, communications and training

• Responsible for direct client-facing engagement in the banking sector related to information security domain and initiatives

• Stay abreast of the latest information security laws, regulations, and best practices and provide security solutions, strategies and oversight to meet the requirements

• Establish and maintain relationships and partnerships with security vendors and organizations, and represent the Company at security conferences/events as required

• Acting in accordance with the Security Management System and Policy to manage all aspects of personnel, physical, production and IT security

• Support business and product team during the sales process to engage key internal and external stakeholders to provide critical perspective and guidance on delivery strategies to meet security requirements

• Participate in new IT projects or solution implementation to advise on the IT security requirements and ensure they are being put in place prior to live implementation

• Advanced knowledge of current security threats, techniques, and landscape, as well as a dedicated and self-driven desire to research current information security landscape

• Knowledgeable in latest trend of security products, evaluate and adopt suitable products for the enterprise to meet security requirements

• Perform any other duties as assigned by superior from time to time

Qualifications:

• Possess a bachelor degree or above in relevant discipline

• At least 15 years of experience on IT security design and implementation

• Experience in banking or financial industry is preferred

• Professional Certification such as CISSP, CISA/CISM or other security certification/accreditation is a must

• Demonstrated proficient decision making skills, analytical and problem solving ability

• Strong organization skills and ability to manage multi-tasks, balancing competing priorities and work under pressure

• Exemplary leadership, mentoring, and team building skills

• Excellent communications skills (both verbal and written English and Chinese) are required

Company Introduction

As a bank consortium, JETCO currently has more than 30 member banks and connects around 3,000 ATMs in Hong Kong and Macau to provide convenient and reliable ATM services across both locations. JETCO ATM switching network also connects to multiple international ATM networks.

JETCO also offers a series of value-added services to member banks, such as payment gateway for e-Commerce and inter-bank cardless cash withdrawal service, to enable member banks to provide customers with innovative and high-quality services.

In 2018, The Hong Kong Monetary Authority designated the relevant payment systems operated by JETCO for the processing of Hong Kong retail payment transactions as a designated retail payment system (“designated RPS”) pursuant to the Payment Systems and Stored Value Facilities Ordinance (“PSSVFO”).

In 2019, JETCO launched JETCO APIX, the first open API exchange platform in Hong Kong. By riding on JETCO APIX, banks and other institution customers can interconnect with their business partners in various industries via API to co-develop innovative products and services for improving service quality and customer experience.

In 2022, JETCO CDI Portal for data consumers launched for supporting banks to easily onboard to Commercial Data Interchange (“CDI”), and JETCO has been named as a solution provider of CDI. In 2023, JETCO CDI Portal has extended to support data providers to onboard to CDI. Moreover, JETCO CDI APIs & value-added features for data consumers were launched. Coming will have more value-added features launching for both data consumers and data providers.

In July 2024, JETCO IADS Proxy Service launched for supporting banks to participate HKMA’s Interbank Account Data Sharing (“IADS”) programme as the data consuming bank to retrieve their customers’ bank account data from other banks subject to customer consents.

In October 2024, JETCO has joined as the participant in Project Ensemble and has connected to Ensemble Sandbox, as well as completed PoC by partnering with banks to testify Payment-versus-Payment (“PvP”) and Delivery-versus-Payment (“DvP”) scenarios. In November 2025, we become one of the participants of EnsembleTX and partnered with banks to test different use cases of interbank settlement using tokenised deposit (“TD”) by riding on our distributed ledger technology (“DLT”) TD platform.
