Senior Manager, Luxury Brand Management, APEC (Fixed-Term Contract – Maternity Leave Cover)
JOB SUMMARY
- Provides day-to-day execution and coordination support for Luxury Brand initiatives and programs across APEC, maintaining continuity of brand operations during the incumbent's maternity leave.
- Supports the Senior Director and global Brand teams in the pull-through and localization of established brand programs, assets, toolkits and communications across APEC properties.
- Coordinates with cross-functional partners – including Marketing, Loyalty, F&B, GDAP, Feasibility and Development – to action brand requests and keep day-to-day brand activities on track.
- Supports execution of the brand plan for HALO openings and conversion hotels, working within direction set by the Senior Director.
- Helps ensure Brand activities reflect the Luxury affiliation of Marriott Bonvoy across all touchpoints.
- Maintains and administers the Brand photography, content and asset library for the continent, ensuring materials are accurate, current and accessible.
- Coordinates on-brand solutions with key stakeholders on behalf of the Brand team, escalating strategic, budgetary or people-related matters to the Senior Director.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
- Hotel operations, brand management or strong project management experience preferred.
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in brand management, marketing, or hotel operations/brand support; prior exposure to lifestyle or luxury brands is an advantage.
- Languages: Proficiency in English required
- Familiarity with global brand management processes and ways of working is preferred.
- Experience supporting or tracking budgets (e.g. PO tracking, invoice coordination, expense monitoring).
- Experience coordinating with agencies, vendors or suppliers on brand-related deliverables.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams and follow through on assigned priorities.
- Strong organizational & project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deliverables and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive, hands-on doer rather than a strategy-setter.
- Experience working with colleagues, vendors and customers across remote/international markets and time zones.
- Strong team player with the ability to build relationships and collaborate across disciplines.
- Immediate to short-notice availability preferred, given the contract start and nature of the cover.
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
Managing Projects and Priorities
- Supports the Luxury Brand team in executing the marketing plan, tracking deliverables and ensuring brand guidelines are maintained.
- Coordinates with other team members on Luxury Brand projects to ensure timely completion of assignments.
- Assists in the coordination and rollout of established Brand programming or initiatives.
- Prepares reports, trackers and presentation materials as requested.
- Responds to and actions stakeholder requests and queries in a timely manner.
- Supports tracking of performance goals, budget goals and team goals.
Brand Support & Coordination
- Coordinates with stakeholders on key openings and focus hotels within the Luxury brand portfolio, under direction from the Senior Director and Luxury Opening leaders.
- Communicates established brand strategy, positioning, voice, strategic pillars and competitive environment to relevant stakeholders.
- Shares consumer insights provided by global and regional brand teams.
- Supports day-to-day representation of Luxury brands in continent, escalating strategic questions to the Senior Director.
Brand Performance & Development
- Supports pull-through of global brand strategies, ensuring on-the-ground alignment to APEC and market-specific execution requirements.
- Assists with the pull-through and localization of new brand initiatives in APEC.
- Coordinates with AVPs and other market resources to distribute regular brand updates.
- Tracks brand performance data and flags issues to the Senior Director and relevant cross-functional teams.
Operations & Culture
- Communicates regular brand updates and brand education materials to the field and hotels.
- Supports properties and regional/area operations with on-brand implementation of brand operating standards, procedures and programs.
- Coordinates onboarding and brand education sessions for General Managers and key stakeholders.
- Provides opening brand support for new hotels, coordinating with Regional/Area Directors of Operations and Marketing to ensure branded elements of openings and countdown activities are executed on brand.
- Maintains and updates branded critical path documents for openings and conversions.
- Supports administration and tracking of off-strategy (focus) hotels as designated by the global and continent Brand team.
Style & Design
- Coordinates with the GDAP lead to track execution of brand strategy in design for new builds, conversions and renovation projects.
- Supports the Brand Activation and Standards, DDO and F&B teams in delivering on-brand Guestroom, F&B, Spa and M+E experiences.
- Assists in coordinating design-related aspects of experience programming (sensory experience elements, look books) with regional operations teams and hotels.
Sales
- Supports the Continent Sales Teams to ensure a coordinated brand and sales approach for all brands.
- Assists B2B teams with coordination of branded consumer events.
- Supports distribution of up-to-date brand information to enable effective sales strategies and customer interaction.
Growth & Development
- Supports the Senior Director and Development team with materials and coordination for prospective new owner brand immersions.
- Assists in producing toolkits and resources, and helps coordinate owner brand immersions and site visits.
