Senior Manager / Manager / Consultant – Technology Consulting
About the Role
Our Technology Consulting practice helps clients navigate their most complex digital and technology transformations from shaping enterprise technology strategy, to modernising data and AI capabilities, to redesigning IT operating models fit for the next decade. Working alongside senior client leadership across financial services, public sector, healthcare, transportation & aviation in Hong Kong, Macau, and the Southeast Asia, we combine deep industry insight with hands-on delivery experience to create measurable business outcomes.
As part of our continued growth, we are looking for talented consulting professionals to join us, focusing on Data & AI advisory and delivery within our broader Technology Consulting portfolio.
Your Role
You will be a key member of our Technology Consulting leadership bench - trusted by clients to shape strategy, lead delivery, and develop talent. Your day-to-day will span client-facing advisory, engagement leadership, business development, practice building and proofs-of-concept.
Client Delivery & Engagement Leadership
Lead or co-lead advisory and delivery engagements across technology strategy, Data & AI transformation, cloud and platform modernisation, IT operating model design, and enterprise architecture.
Own engagement outcomes end-to-end scope, quality, timeline, commercials, risk, and client satisfaction.
Structure ambiguous business problems into clear workstreams, hypotheses, and deliverables, drawing on proven consulting methodologies, and working prototypes.
Facilitate executive workshops, steering committees, and working sessions.
Data & AI Advisory and Delivery
Advise clients on AI strategy and adoption roadmaps, including AI use case identification, prioritisation, value case development.
Support clients through data modernisation journeys - covering data architecture, data platforms, and data quality.
Lead vendor-neutral platform evaluations and proofs-of-concept, developing scoring frameworks, benchmarks, and business cases across leading global, regional and China technology options.
Translate business ambition into target-state architectures, operating models, capability maps, working prototypes and implementation roadmaps.
Take solutions from proof-of-concept through to production, partnering with ASL's development, security, and operation teams to ensure sustainable, scalable delivery.
Business Development
Contribute to proposal development, client pitches, and pursuit activities across the practice.
Identify and shape opportunities within existing accounts; build a personal network of client relationships in Hong Kong, Macau, and the Southeast Asia.
Contribute to thought leadership - points of view, market insights, demos, and reference implementations.
People & Practice Development
Coach, mentor, and develop consultants, business analysts, and junior team members; act as a career counsellor and role model.
Curate reusable consulting and engineering assets - frameworks, playbooks, accelerators, code libraries and reference solutions.
Contribute to practice growth initiatives, recruiting, and capability building.
Your Experience & Background

Essential
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
Relevant experience in management consulting, technology advisory, systems integrator consulting, enterprise architecture or hands-on Data / AI engineering with client-facing exposure roles:
Senior Manager: 8+ years, with a track record of leading sizeable engagements.
Manager: 5+ years of relevant experience.
Consultant: 3+ years of relevant experience.
Strong problem-structuring, analytical, and written communication skills - comfortable producing executive-grade deliverables.
Proven ability to build trust with senior stakeholders and to lead through influence rather than authority.
Business-level proficiency in English; working proficiency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin is highly valued given our client base.
Preferred (any combination is welcome)
Prior experience delivering Data and/or AI-related engagements - e.g., data strategy, data platform modernisation, data governance, AI/GenAI adoption, AI governance, or MLOps.
Comfort working hands-on with technology whether prototyping in Python, writing SQL, configuring cloud or data platforms, or integrating LLMs and APIs
Familiarity with leading cloud and data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, Alibaba Cloud, Huawei Cloud, Databricks, Snowflake) and the broader AI/LLM ecosystem.
Experience across industries in financial services, insurance, public sector, healthcare, or utilities.
Working knowledge of relevant frameworks and standards such as TOGAF, ITIL, COBIT, or PMBOK.
Relevant certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, TOGAF, cloud, data, or AI credentials) are a plus.
Exposure to financial services, public sector, healthcare, transportation & aviation clients is an advantage.
