Senior Manager/ Manager, Data & Digital Transformation

Salary: $55,000 – $80,000 per month

Our client, a well-established financial institution in Hong Kong, is looking for a Senior Manager, Digital Transformation & AI Solutions to drive high-impact digital, AI and data initiatives across its operations.

This is a hands-on transformation role combining Business Analysis, Project Management and Solution Design. You will work closely with business users, technology teams, data scientists and other stakeholders to identify operational pain points, redesign processes and implement practical solutions that deliver measurable business value.

Rather than implementing technology for technology’s sake, you will evaluate whether process improvement, automation, RPA, data or AI solutions are the most appropriate approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of AI, data and digital transformation initiatives

• Work closely with business users to understand operational pain points and requirements

• Translate business needs into practical and scalable technology solutions

• Review existing processes and identify opportunities for simplification and automation

• Develop business cases and assess ROI for proposed digital and AI initiatives

• Coordinate with IT, Data Scientists, AI Engineers and other stakeholders throughout implementation

• Define functional, technical and control requirements for new solutions

• Manage project timelines, risks, dependencies and stakeholder expectations

• Support transformation initiatives across areas such as customer onboarding, payments, operations and regulatory/compliance processes

• Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders

Requirements

• Around 7+ years of experience in digital transformation, Business Analysis, Project Management, data/AI solutions or related areas

• Experience within banking, financial services or FinTech or consultancy is highly preferred

• Strong experience working directly with business users and understanding operational processes

• Proven experience delivering projects from requirement gathering through implementation

• Good understanding of AI, GenAI, data analytics, automation or related technologies

• Able to communicate effectively with technical teams without necessarily being a hands-on developer

• Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills

• Proactive, commercially minded and comfortable challenging existing ways of working

• Strong stakeholder management and presentation skills

• Fluent spoken and written English and Chinese, including Cantonese
