Senior Project Manager – Special Projects is responsible for managing the end-to-end process of developing new satellite clinics, a support services hub (greenfield location for corporate back offices and hospital support facilities), and nursing staff hostel. The individual is responsible for identifying suitable locations, negotiating lease or purchase agreements, coordinating design & engineering and construction activities, and ensuring timely project delivery in alignment with organizational guidelines and facility requirements.

  1. Location Identification:
    • Research and identify potential sites for two satellite clinics, a support services hub, and nursing staff hostel within proximity to the hospital.
    • Conduct feasibility studies and assessments to ensure site suitability, and present recommendations to the Novacare management and board.
  2. Negotiations and Contract Finalization:
    • Lead negotiations with property owners, agents, or developers to secure the best terms for leases or acquisitions.
    • Collaborate with legal and administrative teams to finalize contracts.
  3. Planning & Design Coordination:
    • Develop detailed site requirements and high-level plans in coordination with the relevant clinical and functional management teams
    • Assist architects and engineering consultants in developing facility layouts that comply with healthcare standards and Novacare’s guidelines.
    • Ensure facility designs align with operational needs and organizational branding.
  4. Project Supervision:
    • Tender the potential build or fit-out activities to multiple vendors broken down in packages, and run the tender evaluation process
    • Oversee construction and refurbishment activities, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
    • Integrate across multiple project vendors and ensure that they are well coordinated.
    • Liaise with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to address issues promptly.
    • Conduct regular site visits and provide progress updates to stakeholders.
  5. Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Work closely with healthcare professionals, nursing staff, and administrative teams to incorporate their requirements into facility plans.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for all external vendors and contractors.

Qualification: Bachelor’s/ Master’s Degree preferably in Project Management, Real Estate Development, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 15+ years of experience in real estate development, facility management, or project management (healthcare experience preferred).
  • Proven track record of managing multiple location development projects simultaneously.
