Senior/Manager, Manufacturing Operations
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead manufacturing operations, and manage key customers’ projects in the defense, aerospace and space domain. As head of manufacturing operations, you will play a pivotal role in the daily manufacturing activities in the company facilities: (1) Microassembly packaging, (2) SMT assembly and (3) Testing, to support projects for industrial, defense, aerospace and space applications.
Job Descriptions
• Manages day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient utilization of resources, adherence to quality standards, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Experience in operations management in manufacturing environment, with a demonstrated ability to optimize processes, improve efficiency, and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Develop and implement operational processes, procedures, and best practices to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency for manufacturing operations.
• Lead cross-functional manufacturing teams, to execute orders and achieve organizational objectives.
• Manage vendors to ensure successful off-loading of new products and processes to vendors’ site that comply with quality standards and meet customer’s requirements.
• Manage customers to ensure materials and production readiness to run NPI to volume quantity.
• Drive Operational Excellence to meet organisational objectives.
• Develop plans for production capabilities build-up and production ramps to meet business requirements.
• Communicate manufacturing status, updates, and key milestones to stakeholders, including senior management, customers, vendors and team members.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor in various capacities to meet organizational needs.
Job Requirements
• Minimum Bachelor degree in Industrial engineering with electronic knowledge or equivalent experience in electronic manufacturing environments.
• Minimum 7-10 years experience in production operations management in electronic or semiconductor backend manufacturing environment, with a demonstrated ability to optimize processes, improve efficiency, and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in electronic SMT assembly processes or/and semiconductor backend packaging assembly processes is essential.
• Experience with production manufacturing scheduling tool software.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present technical information to non-technical audiences.
