The Sr. Manager – Marketing & Content is responsible for leading enterprise storytelling and content strategy efforts that strengthen Ecumen's reputation, amplify mission impact, and build trust among residents, families, employees, donors, partners, and community stakeholders. This position is responsible for content strategy, brand storytelling, and audience engagement, and is pivotal in enhancing Ecumen's brand presence and delivering high-quality content that aligns with organizational and business goals. This position also serves as a strategic leader and hands-on content creator, balancing long-term content planning with day-to-day content development and execution.

Pay:
The targeted pay range for this job is $90,000 - $108,000 per year. Ecumen considers a variety of factors when determining new hire pay including experience, qualifications, and, when applicable, certifications, licenses, and education.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
1. Develops and implements a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with Ecumen’s mission, vision, and brand. Develops and executes thought leadership strategies that elevate Ecumen's expertise, innovation, and mission through executive communications, subject matter experts, and industry-facing content.
2. Translates customer, stakeholder, and market insights into content strategies that drive engagement and support business objectives. Partners with business leaders across the organization to identify storytelling opportunities that support organizational priorities and growth strategies.
3. Leads the development, production, and distribution of high-quality content, including blog posts, videos, social media content, infographics, thought leadership pieces, and other digital assets. Works closely with brand team members, as well as other departments to ensure alignment and maximum impact of content initiatives.
4. Ensures all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone, and optimized for search and user experience for all channels of content. Manages the content calendar to ensure timely delivery of content projects.
5. Works with Brand teammates to develop and maintain strong brand voice, visual identity and brand consistency across all platforms and touchpoints. Leads and directs photography and videography projects, including leadership messages, for social and digital platforms.
6. Leads agency, freelance, and external creative partnerships while personally driving the development and execution of key content initiatives.
7. Analyzes content and channel performance data, translating insights into recommendations that improve engagement, brand awareness, lead generation, and business outcomes. Evaluates and implements emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence and content automation tools, to improve efficiency, scalability, personalization, and content effectiveness.
8. In partnership with Marketing leaders, establishes and maintains editorial standards, content governance practices, and messaging frameworks to ensure quality, consistency, and alignment across all content channels.
9. Identifies emerging trends, audience behaviors, and market opportunities and translates them into innovative content strategies that strengthen Ecumen's competitive position.
Driving Requirements: Local Travel Required, Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
Sr Manager - Marketing & Content Minimum Required Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing or other related field
● Seven years of experience communication, marketing or other related experience
● Current valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance
● Ability to think strategically and integrate creative vision with broader business objectives
● Ability to work collaboratively within team and across departments
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
● Proficiency in Adobe design tools and AI applications
Preferred Qualifications:
● Previous experience in a healthcare organization
