Location: Remote - This position may be performed remotely in states where the company is authorized to employ individuals.
Compensation: The expected starting base pay range for this position is $140,000 - $175,000, with full potential base salary range over a successful candidate’s tenure in the position of $140,000 - $210,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, and other job-related factors.
This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, or other incentive compensation in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan of up to a 20% Bonus Target.
Employment Logistics:
The Senior Manager of Claims provides strategic leadership for claims operations, overseeing multiple teams and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. This role drives operational efficiency, accuracy, and scalability through advanced analytics, audit rigor, quality management, and cross-functional alignment. The Senior Manager also leads process improvements, manages departmental resources, and contributes to strategic planning while developing a high-performing claims organization.

The Must-Haves:
8+ years of relevant experience, including management experience, with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Deep understanding of claims, data analytics, policies, and workflows, with awareness of adjacent functions
Strong financial literacy to manage budgets and determine team ROI
Knowledge of high-volume transaction environments and automation

Claims strategy, forecasting & performance: Develop and lead enterprise claims strategies, including forecasting models, resource optimization, and KPI frameworks that enable scalable and efficient operations.
Process optimization & quality management: Drive continuous improvement initiatives and embed proactive quality management frameworks into core service delivery.
Procedures, systems & information flow: Plan, implement, and streamline procedures, systems, and information flow to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
Reporting, dashboards & analytics: Design and build scalable reporting tools and dashboards that improve visibility, transparency, and data-driven decision-making across claims operations.
Budget & resource management: Set and manage the departmental budget while allocating resources effectively and responsibly.
Executive insights & strategic influence: Deliver executive-level insights and recommendations that influence senior leadership, shape strategy, and improve operational performance.
Team leadership & development: Hire, manage, schedule, and develop teams, with accountability for coaching, performance evaluations, corrective action, discipline, and termination recommendations.

The salary range above represents the national range for this position. The salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at OnTrac, and the actual base salary offered may vary depending on several factors including, but not limited to: Geographic location, candidate experience and qualifications, job-related skills and competencies, market alignment, and financial considerations.
