Shukran is the region’s largest retail loyalty programme, owned and operated by Landmark Group, and as part of our vision to revamp the programme, we are looking to create a complete customer-centric engagement ecosystem to drive incremental value to all stakeholders. This entails developing and launching loyalty-linked financial products such as co-branded credit cards across GCC
key responsibilities of the Partnerships Manager –
Co-Brand will be:
Partnership Development and Management
- Partner onboarding: Collaborate with all internal and external stakeholders to lead the onboarding process, including project scoping, project management, business cases, digital implementation, and go-to-market planning
- Account Management: Manage partner activities on a day-to-day basis, reviewing partner performance, managing operational issues, and following up on any outstanding dues and payments
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across all partners. Monitor performance against contractual obligations, manage governance meetings, and promptly address any issues or discrepancies
Strategic Planning and Execution
- Planning & Targets: Develop annual and quarterly joint marketing plans with partners, including target-setting, preparing budgets, and monitoring performance against these targets
- Campaign Management: In collaboration with the marketing team, oversee the development and execution of marketing campaigns. Provide input on campaign design and run post-campaign analysis
- Product Management: Create and refine Customer Value Propositions (CVPs) for co-branded products, ensuring they meet the needs of targeted customer segments and drive growth
Market and Data Analytics
- Market Insights: Use market intelligence to guide strategic decisions, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend ways to refine approaches and priorities
- Data Management: Lead data analytics efforts to support marketing strategies and performance management. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key metrics
Compliance and Standards
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all partnerships adhere to legal and regulatory standards. Manage contractual compliance, including SLAs and payment commitments
- Standards Adherence: Follow the partnership framework and key account management best practices and proactively address any compliance issues
Leadership and Project Management
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a support team, setting objectives, providing feedback, and supporting their professional development
- Project Coordination: Oversee cross-functional projects related to co-branded financial products, ensuring timely and effective execution
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 – 7 years of Key Account Management and/or New Business Development experience, preferably within Loyalty and Rewards, Co-Branded Financial Products, Payments
- Track record of success in a similar role
- Positive attitude towards team-working, problem solving, relationship building and growth mindset
- Well networked – must have a strong book of relevant contacts in the region
- Organized, hungry for success and target oriented, must be motivated to not just achieve targets but to exceed them, and to make a mark
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to identify and resolve key stakeholder needs and challenges, both internally and externally
- An ability to get things done - comfortable with targets, deadlines and making things happen
- IT literate around PCs and Microsoft Packages as well as a solid understanding of Sales CRM systems
- Ability to work independently to achieve results
- Willingness to travel within the region and beyond, as required
- Excellent English language, written and verbal – Arabic is an advantage
