Senior Manager, Pharmacy Solutions

The Senior Manager, Pharmacy Solutions presents an exceptional opportunity to apply pharmacy and healthcare expertise in planning, executing and owning Transcarent’s pharmacy solution initiatives. This leader will be accountable for driving initiatives from strategy, design and enablement through launch and monitoring for ongoing performance, as well as recognizing market needs to identify how solutions can be adapted or expanded to further Transcarent’s mission. This is a highly visible, cross-functional leadership role for a proactive operator who brings structure to ambiguity, anticipates issues before they surface, bridges strategic and operational expertise, and keeps complex, multi-stakeholder work moving forward. You will set the plan and find the path to solutions, partnering across Product, Engineering, Clinical, Operations, Customer Success, Sales Enablement, and external vendors and partners to deliver measurable results for Members and clients. The ideal candidate pairs strong business acumen with the leadership presence to align teams, provide executive and leadership updates on an ongoing basis, and make sound decisions in a fast-moving environment.

What you'll do

· Serve as accountable owner for assigned pharmacy solutions across their full lifecycle: strategy, design, implementation, launch, and ongoing optimization.

· Build and maintain Pharmacy Solutions roadmaps and program plans that anticipate dependencies, risks, and resource needs

· Establish operating cadences, reporting, and decision logs that give leadership and stakeholders clear, real-time visibility into progress, risks, and next steps.

· Align and mobilize across cross-functional stakeholders around shared goals, clear ownership, and committed timelines, influencing without direct authority.

· Move initiatives through ambiguity and competing priorities, removing roadblocks and escalating thoughtfully to keep on track.

· Diagnose complex operational, clinical, and business problems; develop options with clear trade-offs; and drive issues to resolution independently.

· Manage relationships with internal and external partners, including performance oversight, SLAs, issue resolution, and business reviews.

· Apply financial and business acumen to evaluate opportunities, build business cases, and track solution performance against pharmacy cost, quality, engagement, and experience metrics.

· Recognize market and client needs and translate them into new or expanded solution strategies that further Transcarent’s mission.

· Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Account Management to position solutions, support client conversations, and develop executive-ready materials.

· Executive communications and recommendations clearly to senior leaders, solution sponsors, and clients on an ongoing basis.

What we're looking for

· 6+ years of experience in pharmacy benefits, PBM, managed care, health plan, or digital health, including 3+ years leading complex, cross-functional programs or solutions.

· Demonstrated end-to-end ownership of solutions, products, or programs from concept through launch and ongoing performance.

· Proven cross-functional leader who can align, influence, and motivate teams without direct authority.

· Proactive, self-directed operator with a track record of building plans, driving accountability, and moving work forward in ambiguous environments.

· Strong business acumen, including the ability to build business cases, interpret financial and performance data, and make data-informed decisions.

· Strong problem-solving skills; able to break down complex issues and drive to practical solutions.

· Excellent written and verbal communication, including executive-level presentations

· Excellent at prioritization, scoping, and documentation; comfortable in fast-paced, evolving organizations and willing to pivot when needed.

· Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MPH) preferred.

· Vendor and/or partner management experience is a plus.

· Pharmacy background (e.g., PharmD, CPhT) is helpful but not required; pharmacist licensure is not required for this role.
